RSD and IBM at Moldova Digital Summit 2025: Securing Data in the Post-Quantum Era

Between June 5–7, 2025, at Chișinău Arena, RSD actively participated in Moldova Digital Summit 2025, the most important event dedicated to digital transformation in the Republic of Moldova. As an IBM Gold Partner, we were honored to represent IBM’s cutting-edge technologies in an international setting, alongside experts, thought leaders, and key industry players.

IBM Booth in the Expo Area: Innovation, Dialogue, and Solutions for the Future

During the three-day event, the IBM booth in the expo area — organized by RSD — was a focal point for IT professionals, decision-makers, and innovation enthusiasts. Visitors had the opportunity to explore IBM’s latest solutions in cybersecurity, automation, data management, and artificial intelligence.

Keynote de impact: Quantum-Safe by IBM

One of the key moments of the event was the keynote delivered by Tomaz Vincek, Senior Partner Technical Specialist – Territory, IBM. In his presentation, “Quantum-Safe by IBM: Protect Sensitive Data Against Future Threats Posed by Quantum Computing,” Tomaz addressed a crucial topic for the future of cybersecurity: protecting sensitive data from the threats posed by quantum computing.

The audience learned how IBM’s Quantum-Safe technologies provide organizations with a robust toolkit to prepare in advance, mitigating potential risks arising from the rapid advancement of quantum computers.

Valuable Connections and New Perspectives

Participation in Moldova Digital Summit 2025 meant more than just a technological presence for the RSD team — it was an opportunity for intensive networking, idea exchange, and direct engagement with the business community, authorities, and international partners. For three days, we held discussions about the current needs of companies, digital prospects for both the public and private sectors, and how IBM solutions can be effectively implemented in the local context.
