Moldova Digital Summit 2026: Key Note & Expo Booth Proactive Hunt by Provision

On June 5, 2026, during the Moldova Digital Summit, ProVision, together with RSD, presented the key challenges and opportunities related to aligning organizations with the European NIS2 and DORA requirements, with a strong focus on strengthening cyber resilience and regulatory compliance.
The sessions explored organizations’ responsibilities in managing cyber risks, establishing effective governance frameworks, as well as ICT third-party risk management and data governance, particularly for the financial and public sectors.
The presentations were delivered by Alexandru Bertea, Security Operations Senior Manager at ProVision. Throughout the event, the ProVision and RSD teams provided technical guidance and engaged with participants on topics including operational resilience, critical infrastructure protection, and the implementation of cybersecurity best practices.
Moldova Digital Summit 2026: IBM Demo session

On June 5, 2026, during the Moldova Digital Summit, IBM delivered a presentation focused on cyber resilience and preparing IT infrastructures for the post-quantum era, addressing the rapid evolution of cyber threats and emerging technologies. IBM’s participation was facilitated by RSD.
The live demo session, presented by Cristian Ungureanu (IBM), showcased the capabilities of IBM FlashSystem in enhancing infrastructure resilience, protecting and recovering critical data, and optimizing enterprise applications. The session provided attendees with practical use cases relevant to modern enterprise environments.
Throughout the event, RSD maintained an active presence, providing technical consulting and facilitating discussions on the implementation of IBM solutions in the Republic of Moldova, with a focus on modern storage architectures and data protection strategies.
Seminar: ManageEngine Shield NXG 2026

On May 12, 2026, the Shield NXG 2026 Moldova seminar took place, organized by RSD in partnership with ManageEngine, focusing on today’s Identity & Threat Defense challenges.
The event brought together IT professionals and cybersecurity experts, providing practical insights into building a more secure and easier-to-manage IT ecosystem in an environment characterized by increasingly complex hybrid infrastructures and evolving security risks.
The sessions emphasized the role of identity as the new security perimeter, covering topics such as user lifecycle automation, unified infrastructure visibility, and system integration for faster incident detection and response. Attendees also explored best practices based on real-world cyberattacks, implementation scenarios, certification sessions, and interactive Q&A discussions.
The event reinforced the commitment of RSD and ManageEngine to advancing modern cybersecurity through an identity-first approach, automation, and unified visibility.
Conference: Bitdefender Day 2026 – Cybersecurity in the Age of Hybrid Warfare

On April 28, 2026, the Bitdefender Day 2026 – Cybersecurity in the Age of Hybrid Warfare conference took place, organized by Reliable Solutions Distributor in partnership with Bitdefender. The event brought together IT professionals, cybersecurity managers, and representatives from both the public and private sectors to address today’s cybersecurity challenges in the context of hybrid threats.
The sessions featured insights into cyber warfare, attacker tactics and techniques, and the importance of vulnerability identification. Participants explored strategies for threat prevention, continuous monitoring, and effective incident response. The conference concluded with a panel discussion focused on strengthening cyber resilience and sharing industry best practices.
Workshop: IBM Storage & Power Systems | Proof of Concept

On March 17, 2026, the IBM Storage & Power Systems | Proof of Concept workshop took place, organized by RSD—an IBM Gold Business Partner in the Republic of Moldova—in collaboration with MUK Distribution. The event brought together IT professionals interested in optimizing their IT infrastructure and strengthening operational resilience through technical presentations, real-world case studies, and hands-on demonstrations.
During the IBM Power session, attendees explored the IBM Power server architecture along with its performance and scalability advantages. The storage session highlighted IBM FlashSystem NVMe, IBM Fusion, and IBM Tape Storage solutions, featuring Proof of Concept (POC) demonstrations followed by an interactive Q&A session.

RSD and IBM at Moldova Digital Summit 2025: Protecting Data in the Post-Quantum Era

From June 5–7, 2025, at Moldova Digital Summit 2025, RSD represented IBM solutions as an IBM Gold Partner, showcasing advanced technologies for cybersecurity, automation, data management, and artificial intelligence. The IBM booth attracted numerous IT professionals and decision-makers interested in digital innovations. A highlight of the event was the keynote by Tomaz Vincek, IBM representative certified in Quantum Computing, who presented “Quantum-Safe by IBM” solutions and emphasized the importance of protecting data in the era of quantum technology. The event also facilitated dialogue with businesses and public institutions on digital transformation.

The event highlighted the latest trends in cybersecurity, collaboration with authorities to combat digital threats, and proactive protection approaches. The central moment was the presentation of Bitdefender GravityZone PHASR – the first solution to personalize security based on each user’s behavior, marking a significant step toward adaptive protection within organizations.
Workshop: IT Infrastructure Security – Detection and Defense Against Cyber Attacks
RSD, in partnership with RomsymData Romania, organized the workshop “IT Infrastructure Security – Detection and Defense Against Cyber Attacks.” The event brought together representatives from leading cybersecurity manufacturers, who presented advanced solutions for IT infrastructure protection: WatchGuard Technologies – Strategies for maximizing IT security through a unified approach; Barracuda Networks – Effective methods for defending against email-borne threats; Invicti Security – The importance of advanced vulnerability assessment for robust cybersecurity.
The workshop provided participants with valuable insights into the latest solutions and best practices for combating cyber threats.
Moldova Digital Summit

As a silver partner, RSD was proud to join IBM at this prestigious summit. At the Moldova Digital Summit 2024, attendees had the opportunity to discover how IBM's innovative solutions and expertise contribute to a safer and more efficient digital future. Hrvoje Greguric, IT Automation SME for the NCEE Region at IBM, delivered an engaging keynote on the topic "AIOps: Taking the Stress Out of Application Performance Management," highlighting IT automation technologies and their benefits for application performance management.
Bitdefender Day Conference: Together for a Safer Digital Environment

Bitdefender Day Conference: Addressing Global Cybersecurity Challenges!
Date: June 8, 2023. Location: Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel, Chisinau. Over 90 participants, representing the business sectors of telecommunications, education, healthcare, IT&C, utilities, banking, as well as government institutions—partners and clients of RSD—gathered for the "Bitdefender Day Conference: Addressing Global Cybersecurity Challenges"! We came together to discuss the global cybersecurity risks and the solutions we have to tackle this ever-growing challenge. The event was also a great occasion to celebrate 10 years of Reliable Solutions Distributor being the official distributor of Bitdefender in the Republic of Moldova! At the end of the event, we celebrated the beautiful results through an award ceremony honoring the partners and RSD team members who have made exceptional contributions to promoting Bitdefender's cybersecurity solution in the Republic of Moldova.

The event gathered managers, IT department heads, and engineers from the banking sector, educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses.

Date: March 28, 2023. Location: Jolly Alon Hotel, Chisinau. RSD organized a workshop dedicated to secure access tools to institutional resources and strengthening the operational capacity of teams. The event brought together managers, IT department heads, and engineers from the banking system, educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses.The event featured speakers from ZOHO Corporation’s ManageEngine division, including Mr. Benett Barathi, Associate Director, and Mr. Jagan Palaniswamy, Senior Technical Consultant. Additionally, our colleagues Mihai Moraru, Commercial Director at RSD, and Nicolai Sîrbu, Software Engineer, shared insights and details on the implementation of ManageEngine solutions in local institutions.
